It's your time.
Being a woman, do you find that you are pulled in every direction? Are you good enough as a.... woman/sister/friend/wife/mum/aunt - the list goes on.
Who do you turn to when things are tough? Do you feel you have to play down how you're actually feeling... you 'should' be grateful for everything you've got.Are you struggling with symptoms of peri-menopause or menopause? Do you know if what you're experiencing is related to the menopause? Do you no longer feel like yourself. Or are your symptoms 'not bad enough'?
Are you struggling having lost your baby? Others tell you, “you should be over it by now”, they just don’t understand what you’re going through - whether this loss was recent or years ago.
When was the last time you put YOU first? Self care isn't selfish, if you don't look after yourself and address your own needs how can you possibly keep giving to others without feeling exhausted? On an aircraft they always tell you to put on your own oxygen mask first... they say this for a reason.
